With the aim of understanding the current state of coffee production according to sustainable criteria and thereby providing recommendations to promote coffee production development in the six provinces of Lâm Đồng, Đắk Nông, Gia Lai, Bình Phước, Đồng Nai, and Sơn La, Inetzero Social Enterprise Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Center for Rural Development in Central Vietnam (CRD) under Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry, and with the support of Enveritas, have conducted a survey in the majority of coffee farming households and coffee harvest workers in the mentioned provinces.
Training Course for Enumerators
As part of the program, 42 enumerators were selected to participate in a training course on survey criteria and relevant coffee knowledge from October 14 to October 18, 2024, at Dalat University, Dalat City, Lâm Đồng Province. After the training, these Enumerators will be divided into 8 groups and assigned to different provinces to conduct surveys from October 21 to November 28, 2024. The main product of this survey will be a dataset on coffee production at household levels. This dataset will be used by relevant stakeholders to develop scientific products such as research reports, reference materials, and articles published in scientific journals.
Household Interviews
As established with the goal of addressing social and environmental issues, not solely focused on profit, Inetzero Social Enterprise Co., Ltd. is gradually participating in scientific research activities and management consulting with a non-emission approach. It is hoped that, as the Survey Partner of the “Survey on Sustainable Coffee Production Criteria” program, Inetzero will contribute to helping Vietnamese farmers meet sustainable coffee cultivation and production criteria, in line with export standards under the EUDR anti-deforestation law.
